Le terme Open Source décrit les pratiques de production et de développement, qui favorisent l'accès aux sources du produit final. Certains considèrent l'open source comme une philosophie, d'autres le considèrent comme une méthodologie pragmatique et personnellement je suis du premier cas. L'Open Source propose une approche communautaire qui permet de bénéficier d'un logiciel libre.
